The Team
Hollard Commercial Insurance aims to be the market’s preferred insurer for commercial business. You will be working with a team of highly driven and enthusiastic individuals who do not take themselves too seriously but do take what they do very seriously.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Underwriting a portfolio of SME business across Property, Business Interruption, Liability, Theft, Glass, Machinery Breakdown, Electronic Equipment etc.
- Underwrite and price new business and renewals that are outside of auto rated terms
- Recommending and implementing process, underwriting and pricing improvements across the business including review of loss ratios and portfolios
- Keeping abreast of the broader insurance industry to identify market movements and changes
About You
- At least 1-2 years underwriting experience (Commercial preferred) and ideally experience with intermediated channels
- Good understanding of relationship management skills, underwriting principles, insurance legislation and current market trends
- Industry related qualifications (e.g. ANZIIF) is desirable
- Industry related qualifications (e.g. ANZIIF) is desirable
