YOUR ROLE
We have an opportunity for an Underwriter, Liability Small Commercial & Schemes.
The purpose of the role is to evaluate the suitability, terms, and pricing of moderately to highly intricate insurance risks and establish coverage.
In this role, you will seek opportunities to expand the portfolio through the conversion of new business.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will implement underwriting strategy tailored to target markets and accounts within Small Commercial and schemes team.
• You will evaluate and underwrite liability insurance risks
• You will assist in overseeing the liability portfolio across various stages including underwriting processing, credit management, documentation issuance, and overall risk management.

This Permanent Full-time position offers a hybrid work environment, working from our Sydney office.

ABOUT YOU

• An insurance qualification, e.g. ANZIIF Cert IV or in the process of working towards, and/or
• Tertiary degree or equivalent (preferred)
• Proven current knowledge of insurance industry, as demonstrated in involvement in trade and industry
• Liability underwriting experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels.
