Job Description:
Position: Commis Chef
Location: Moore Park, Sydney
Employment Type: Full-Time - 8 hours shifts between 10am and 6pm. No weekends!
Reports to: Production Manager
We are hospitality but we are different – no traditional restaurant model for us!

About You:
- Minimum 1 year experience in similar position
- Have a passion for quality food
- Have an eye for detail and great communication and organisational skills
WHAT DOES A COMMIS CHEF DO?
The Fun Stuff
- Batch cooking and preparation of multi cuisine foods
- Following food safety procedures, stock rotation, managing wastage
- Coordinate food production schedules and ensure highest level of food quality, taste and production
- Maintain effective relationships and support with management
- Do regular inspections of the entire kitchen and act promptly to correct deficiencies discovered
- Be proactive and support the Manager with anticipating and resolving problems
- Implement and monitor all Health and Safety and hygiene practices and procedures
