The opportunity:
Sea World Resort’s dedicated kitchen team is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Commis Chef. You will be responsible for food preparation and cooking duties whilst ensuring a consistently of high quality food products and service.
Your day to day:
• Conduct food preparation and cooking duties ensuring all items are prepared at quality standards.
• Work effectively within a team environment to provide excellent internal service and to promote a positive working environment
• Adapt to guests’ dietary needs and requests
• Mentor and motivate Apprentices ensure all items are prepared in line with the menu
What you’ll bring:
• Relevant Chef qualification(s) with Certificate III Commercial Cookery
• Industry experience working as a Commis Chef.
• Comprehensive understanding of food hygiene and Food Safety programs
• Knowledge of customer dietary requirements such as food allergies & intolerances etc
