Job Description We’re seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer as we expand our operations and take on ambitious Infrastructure projects that are critical for our community.

  Our Commissioning Engineer will lead the provision of project commissioning services and requires the ability to balance compliance with technical standards and project risk mitigation strategies. This role will be integrated within our project management team ensuring the successful collaboration and delivery of all commissioning activities for a wide variety of Industrial Plant projects.   As our Commissioning Engineer you will be involved throughout the planning, design and construction of various upgrades such as the Bendigo and Castlemaine Water Reclamation Plants.

 This will lead to more hands-on involvement into commissioning and performance testing of the plants post construction.   It’s a role that will bring new opportunities for development, recognition and reward for experience, and a significant career steppingstone. A snapshot of your day Managing commissioning activities and relationships with key project managers and stakeholders from project inception to the completion of commissioning process Ensuring early involvement in project planning, providing project managers with commissioning advice and proof of performance requirements Reviewing contractor project commissioning and decommissioning plans, procedures and project documentation Ensuring project plans meet relevant compliance and technical specification, risk parameters, OH&S and sustainable environmental standards.

Lead the development of the project commissioning framework, promoting consistency and reliability within all projects.   First and foremost, we’re looking for someone who shares our passion for the water and wastewater sector, recognises opportunities to improve plant efficiency and inspiring transformation.   To be considered for the role you’ll be a degree qualified Engineer, have demonstrated experience in design and/or construction, commissioning, operations and maintenance of industrial plants, proven success building relationships and driving outcomes with stakeholders and looking to grow your career in an organisation doing work that matters to its community.
