About the Role
Are you looking for a fun and fast-paced environment to flex your content and copy writing skills to the next level?
The Employability team at Swinburne University of Technology are looking for a Communication and Events Officer to join their team!
In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining all Communications and marketing collateral for the Employability teams. This involves liaising with various teams to determine their needs and using a broad range of channels, including the website, student systems, print and e-collateral and social media platforms.
The successful applicant will also need to provide event and program assistance to the employability team – including but not limit to operational support for key portfolio events including event logistics; employability and Work Integrated Learning (WIL) programs, including workshops and webinars.
About You
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:
- Experience of developing and implementing marketing and communication plans and products
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of high level, quality services within a demanding, client focused environment
- High level written and verbal communication skills to ensure appropriate standards of communication to internal and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to the development of a positive and cooperative team environment, as well as the ability to operate independently
Qualifications
Completion of an undergraduate degree with subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education/training
