About the Role
Based at the Dalby Corporate Office, you will develop and maintain effective online communication services and strategies to enhance the effectiveness of Council's online presence as well as provide internal advice and support to the organisation.
Reporting to the Communication & Marketing Manager, you will:
Manage Council's corporate online and digital presence, both internally and externally from design through to daily administration and maintenance;
Coordinate projects and creative innovative campaigns for Council's social media platforms and work to improve these channels;
Design high quality communication and Marketing collateral across a range of platforms, including print, broadcast and digital;
Write concise and accurate media releases and editorial copy (internal and external) on Council news and film, edit and package video and audio suitable for use on a range of platforms; and
Provide advice and support to Council Departments to develop communication and visual marketing campaigns.
About you
The successful applicant will have:
A qualification in Communications, Marketing or Business, or be able to demonstrate equivalent related experience;
Exceptional people skills and demonstrated ability to effectively deal with a broad cross-section on Council stakeholders;
A high level of written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail; and
Proficient use of the Microsoft Office Suite and demonstrated editing and layout skills.
