A unique career opportunity for a Communications Consultant / PR Account Manager to join a collaborative, high performing and passionate team in a specialist financial services integrated PR and communication consultancy.

Responsibilities will incude:

• Independently secure earned media opportunities for clients.
• Lead daily account management, ensuring all activities align with client objectives.
• Produce high-quality drafts of pitches, media releases, op-eds, blog posts, and other copy.
• Conduct media monitoring and analysis, providing insights and recommendations based on findings.
• Develop and maintain media relationships on behalf of clients.
• Assist in crisis management situations, providing strategic advice and support.
• Contribute to the development of strategic communication plans.
• Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on projects.
• Participate in industry events and networking activities to represent the agency and expand client opportunities.
• Lead internal knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities.
• Provide regular performance reports to clients and recommend adjustments to strategies based on data analysis.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas to client campaigns.

 You are:

• Adept at achieving media outcomes, particularly in mainstream and consumer media.
• A strong communicator with exceptional client orientation.
• A proactive problem solver and collaborative team player.
• Highly organised.
• Interested in business or finance.

Your previous experience should demonstrate:

• Proficiency in PR industry practices and a good understanding of business or financial industry.
• In-depth knowledge of the Australian economic, political, and media landscape.
• Basic knowledge or experience in marketing, digital, and social media.
• Ability to evaluate material at an intermediate level.
• Successful team collaboration and peer skill development.
• Confidence in high-stakes engagements.
• Excellent stakeholder management.
• Creativity in securing media coverage, especially targeting financial audiences
