Most importantly, we speak in specifics and get the job done.The RoleWe're looking for a passionate and talented Senior Analytics Consultant to join our rapidly growing and ambitious team, as an embedded member of the essencemediacom agency. This role sits at a pivotal cross roads of client and product solutions. In your role as Senior Analytics Consultant you will lead the Analytic Solutions as an embedded lead within essencemediacom's Sydney team. You will oversee all activities and ensuring alignment with the client vision and objectives. This will involve the management of both your team and client relationships to drive maximum value of your clients media mix and new insights developed for smarter planning and business management.In your role you will play a key role in improving the analytics tools across the business, staying informed and keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices. You will be highly skilled in research and data analytics with the innate ability to tell a story utilising the data to contextualise the information and promote its relevance in the delivery of key business metrics for our clients.ResponsibilitiesWhen thinking about Product this role responsibility is to:Act as one of the key leads and face of our analytics solution suite across the agency and for clients
Showcase how our product suite delivers value for clients.
Proven success in delivering efficiencies and growth for our clients using Advanced Analytics and data science techniques.
Construct machine learning principles into our analytic solutions
Provide thought leadership, acting as the subject matter expert in the designing and recommending of appropriate analytical approaches and methodology in addressing key issues within the business.
Identify areas of product development based on client requirements to evolve our Advanced Analytics team.
Demonstrate improved and Advanced Analytics operations of the agency through commercial or product success.
When thinking about Technical expertise this role responsibility is to:You will be confident using our available range of tools and software to organise data
Build best in class statistical/machine learning models
Build data pipeline/infrastructure across analytical platforms as part of product development and project delivery
Guide the team to build technically sound analytics solutions
Troubleshoot technical and process issues across on-going projects
Provide best practice training
When thinking about Clients this role responsibility is to:Be an effective presenter. Have well-developed written and verbal skills.
Develop trusted relationships with clients delivering on ROI
Develop Snr- Client relationships and extend the agency's breath of contact into
Analytics departments within key clientsBuild strong relationships with clients, become trusted business partner and strategic advisor.
Understand client needs and work with colleagues to deliver an analytics approach to maximise client performance.
Build clear visibility of all major client initiatives over the next 12 months.
Project manage the analytic projects with the team and clients to adhere to scope outputs.
When thinking about Commercials this role responsibility is to:NB - This role is about delivering solutions that drive revenue, but it is not expected to be accountable for the teams P&L and revenue delivery.
Be confident in identifying and scoping strategically relevant revenue opportunities for essencemediacom and our clients with the Head of, and Chief of department.
Provide clear scoping guidance for client opportunities to client leads and Heads of
department.Support with the process of pipelining, forecasting and delivery of A&I solutions including Acceleration capabilities enablement in Essence Mediacom.
When thinking about People this role responsibility is to:Manage the Advanced Analytics team based in Sydney, 3-4 specialists.
Act as a leader for your team and guide the rest of the agency in the evolution of our analytics solutions for clients.
Ensure the team are delivering quality work and respecting deadlines.
Own your teams work and develop action plans across your clients' projects that work to continuously improve performance.
Cultivate a learning and coaching culture to develop our talent and play a full role in forwarding their careers.
Live and breathe the Acceleration & essencemediacom behaviours and be a role model of this behaviour.
Contribute to and encourage involvement in initiatives that reflect the Acceleration & essencemediacom culture.
Success MeasuresProduct - Service Penetration, Client Adoption, Executional Sell through.

Technical - Smooth delivery of on-going projects
Client - TRR / Vantage scores
Commercial - New business, revenue, and profitability
Required ExperienceCandidates will have at least 5+ years' experience in data modelling/Visualisation across a range of industries, including:Machine learning and data science knowledge adaptable to media requirements
Working knowledge of models such as Market mix model, predictive models, segmentation models
Proficient in 1 or more of: Python, R, SQL, Snowflake, GCP
Expert level dashboaring skills - Tableau. PowerBI
Be an effective presenter. Have well-developed written and verbal skills.
Develop trusted relationships with clients delivering on ROI
Experience across implementation and optimisation
Project management and product development experience
Business development experience - upsell, cross sell, new business
Ability to build strong partnerships with stakeholders (internal and external)
