About the opportunity
The COS Change and Communications Analyst provides hands on change management and Communications support for the development and implementation of a strategic project within the Technical Support Services division of the University. The project involves a review of the mechanical / electronic workshops supporting teaching and research. The position collaborates with TSS Managers, Project Team members and HR to implement effective Change and Communications solutions for the project.
The Change and Communications Analyst is pivotal in supporting and ensuring the project's success. The Change and Communications Analyst will support the change process end-to-end and will develop high quality fit-for-audience communications to facilitate
The Change and Communications Analyst collaborates closely within a team to ensure end-to-end Change and Communications solutions are in place (including communications, engagement, training and support). They prepare change management and Communications collateral and deliverables.
The position provides hands on end-to-end change management and Communications support to staff and stakeholders including communications and engagement planning and delivery, stakeholder analysis and engagement / management, risks and impact assessments, gathering feedback, building and delivering training and support materials if required, and supporting readiness assessments.
About you
extensive experience managing internal communications programs, in tandem with change management to ensure timely and adequate communications with key stakeholders
experience drafting fit-for-purpose communications for a variety of audiences
experience with change management, and able to manage multiple stakeholders
great organisational skills and stakeholder engagement skills and ability to meet deadlines
good understanding of change management frameworks, methodology and tools
proficient with Microsoft suite
experience within tertiary education is highly desirable
experience with SharePoint and maintaining intranet sites is highly desirable.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
