Salary- Job Title: Events and Engagement Officer
- Contract: Start ASAP - June 2024 (possibility to extend)
- Rate: $61 P/H + SUPER
- Location: Rural/Regional NSW. Remote working, Work from home 5 days a week.
- Some travel involved to attend events in regional NSW.
- You must hold Australian Permanent residency or citizenship and reside in NSW

About the role:
As an Events and Engagement Officer, you will be the go-to person for Regional Women NSW for Communications, Social media posts, and promoting small events events in regional areas such as Women's Week.
Your responsibilities within the role:
- Create and distribute a bi-weekly newsletter to keep stakeholders up to date.
- Write copy for different channels.
- Manage 5 social media platforms using tools like Sprout Social and Canva to create tiles.
- Coordinate small-scale events located across NSW and help with some larger events on occasion.
- Stakeholder engagement with media outlets for event coverage.
- On occasion, participate in interviews (media experience desirable, training can be provided).
- Prepare event briefs and reports.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in Digital/Social Media, Communication and engagement roles.
- Strong copywriting skills, and previous experience in stakeholder engagement are a must.
- You will be located in Regional/Rural NSW
- Previous experience using Sprout Social and Canva.
- Happy to travel to events when required.
- Previous experience in Council or Government roles.
- Hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency is a must.
