- Incredible Communications Opportunity within BT's Platforms Service & Operations Division
Reporting into the Head of Platforms Service and Operations, the Communication Lead is accountable for, and applies their expert knowledge to, operationalising the strategy in relation to the management and execution of internal and external communications. You will be responsible for delivering the Platforms Service and Operations and Customer Services communications, producing content (and running events via Teams Live) for all key communications channels across both businesses. Communication must align to our BT Strategy on a Page and broader Westpac Group messaging as required.
You will also be involved in:
- Monthly All Ins, People Leader updates & the Head of PS&O Newsletter
- Regular Head of email communication
- Regular communications support for the broader Platforms Service & Operations Leadership Team
- Managing our Listening Strategy, including building Voice+ (engagement) action plan and all Voice+ communications as well as hosting regular sessions and focus groups with employees
- Communications support as required for our businesses in relation to change, transformation and separation programs of work.
- Writing content and managing BT's awards representation including building and writing all award submissions and leading the preparation of presentations and delivery across all categories.
- Visual content, talking points and contribution to overall BT communications
- Managing reactive messaging in relation to sensitive issues with our people
- Reward and recognition, including managing the process for allocating risk and service excellence awards and associated communications.

What do I need?
- Demonstrated experience in a similar communications or marketing role
- Experience within the banking & financial services industry is highly desirable
- Sound influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
- Exceptional strategic thinking skills & the ability to liaise with senior leadership
- Strong familiarity with a broad range of communications technologies and advanced written and verbal communications skills.
- You have attention to detail and be able to apply solid governance so that all communications meet internally set quality and consistency standards.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
- Exceptional Microsoft Suite skills & experience with Teams Live
