About the role:
This role with Healthscope has the potential to significantly shape your career - as the Communications Manager, you will hold a senior position within the organisation.
Your primary focus will be on delivering internal communications to support Healthscope’s workplace relations strategy and ensuring successful enterprise bargaining outcomes.
Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies for internal projects and transformation activities.
What you’ll do:
As the Communications Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
- providing strategic communications guidance to the executive team and senior leaders
- developing a comprehensive strategy for communicating Healthscope’s workplace relations initiatives
- implementing the communications strategy across various channels to reach diverse audience groups within Healthscope
- managing internal and external communities
- monitoring and analysing engagement metrics, and general reporting.
About you:
We are seeking a seasoned communications professional who:
- is committed to developing and executing measurable employee engagement programs that foster stronger connections to Healthscope’s workplace relations agenda.
- can craft engagement plans tailored to key stakeholder groups
- is adept at supporting managers and employees throughout enterprise agreement negotiations
- possesses the ability to collaborate with hospital management teams to garner support for enterprise agreements among their staff
- ideally, has knowledge of the healthcare sector or experience working within it (preferred but not essential).
- degree qualifications in communications or a related field
- senior-level experience in a large organisation
- extensive experience in internal communications and workplace relations
- exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
- strong stakeholder engagement skills
- impeccable attention to detail and the ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
