The role
We are seeking a Communications Officer to join the Strategic Communications & Engagement team. Reporting to Program Leader, your role is to:
- Provide communications & engagement advice to Council teams
- Develop and implement Communications & Engagement Plans
- Use your creative flair working with our designers to create engaging collateral
- Develop a wide range of communications collateral including web content, social media copy, printed materials, speeches and more

We are looking for someone with:
- Experience in a communications role
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, or related field (or relevant experience)
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

The salary for this position starts at $74,820 (Band 5) per annum plus superannuation.
