The Role
The position of Visual Communications Officer reports to the Head of Communications and Design and is responsible for the development of marketing collateral for major projects, services and events of the City of Ballarat and Council.
About You
The City of Ballarat is seeking a passionate graphic designer who can provide advice and expertise to the organisation while fostering a high standard of forward thinking and innovation in the City of Ballarat’s visual communication.
The ideal candidate will have an:
- Advanced knowledge of the Adobe and Office 365 programs.
- Ability to produce innovative, forward thinking, creative solutions in line with a logical and realistic approach to organisational needs.
- Ability to negotiate and coordinate external service providers to meet City of Ballarat corporate standards and branding guidelines.
- Ability to manage time effectively, to set priorities, to meet deadlines and to plan and organise own workload in a fast-paced working environment.
