About the Role
This is a fixed term parental leave contract until April 2025.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Create meaningful and consistent content across a variety of platforms including social media, web content, and event collateral and material
- Conduct interviews and produce engaging written content and people stories
- Support the development of content for the Annual Report
- Manage relationships with external suppliers and creative agencies as required
- Liaise professionally with a variety of stakeholders such as graphic designers, artists, and suppliers
- Other duties to support the Manager with activation of key events and communications activities as required
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism or similar will be highly regarded though not essential for someone with considerable relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in creative storytelling and creating high impact content for a range of platforms
- Flexible attitude - someone who can adapt to changing priorities and is willing to help others in this collaborative team environment
- Professional communication and engagement skills, someone who can build relationships effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Sense of initiative, someone who is positive and proactive
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work within a deadline-driven environment
- Make a difference using your creative content skills to tell impactful stories relating to mental health and recovery
- Contribute your own ideas where creative thinking and innovation is valued
- Produce content to support the delivery of a high profile Queensland Mental Health Week event - the Recovered Futures Art Exhibition
