Due to an internal promotion and our focus on providing development opportunities for our people, a great role has become available to join our evolving Media Engagement Economy & Corporate Affairs (MEECA) team as a Communications Partner.
In this role you will work closely with operational and planning areas of City of Newcastle to keep the community informed about changes, improvements, issues and opportunities that impact the way they live, work and play. You will proactively develop, manage and implement effective and timely communication strategies to support the delivery of infrastructure projects across the city. You'll use your interpersonal skills to build strong internal relationships and advanced communication talents to create informative and engaging content for a range of channels, ensuring the right message reaches the right audience.
