About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for Connectivity / Communications Support Specialist to join our national Technical Operations Centre based in our Head Office at Mascot. The main function of this role is to ensure the effective and efficient operation of our digital products portfolio and associated Remote Monitoring services.

This is an amazing opportunity to be responsible for ensuring seamless connectivity for all connected units in the field. You will play a crucial role in building broad relationships and partnering with stakeholders to solve problems with tangible outcomes measured and to facilitate training for all Schindler technicians to be able to handle issues and full rectification of non-communicating devices and to maintain all communication channels. In this role, you will work closely with the Operation and Quality Expert and reporting to a highly experienced and supporting Technical Operations Manager.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensuring 100% connectivity of all connected units in the field
  • Review, analyse and make recommendations on process improvements
  • Monitor incomplete & wrongly commissioned devices
  • Manage deactivation of SIM (OEM mode) for lost contact
  • Testing and faults rectification
  • Resolve or escalate user problems to second-level support
  • Create and manage training documents for Australia.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in process & procedures
  • IT Network and Telecommunication experience
  • ACMA Licence (optional)
  • Technical Proficiency
  • Effective PC & Microsoft Suite Skills
  • Strategic thinker with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask multiple priorities
