We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced Communications Technicians to join our growing WA team on a full-time basis, located at Bayswater. Reporting to the Project Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of the project communications installations across our multiple projects for our CSG/Service works division.
What are we looking for?
- Highly motivated and adaptable qualified Communications Technicians
- Experience working on Cat6A cabling projects
- Experience working with fibre optical cabling including splicing and testing
- Fault finding and testing experience
- Excellent work ethic – continuing to build our reputation for excellence
- Good attention to detail maintained when working to time constraints
- Outstanding communication skills
- Strong understanding of safety, environmental and quality systems.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Electrical licenced Communications dual trader preferred
What do I need?
- Minimum ACMA Licensed with the relevant endorsements, or currently hold a Certificate 3 in telecommunications
- Hold or be willing to gain vendor endorsements
- EWP licence required
- Understanding of AS/CA S009/2020 and AS/CA S008:2020
- Experience in communication fit-out projects
- Experience on Cat6/6A patch panel fit off
- Hold or have held an NV1 level security clearance – desirable
