This is an excellent opportunity for University of TAFE students who are studying within the Nursing or Allied Health field to work within industry while studying.
Please note: We are recruiting across a 7 day roster which includes sleep over services.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Our Community Worker’s assist clients to remain living independently in their own home and community. No day is ever time same! Some of the tasks you will be providing:
- assistance with self-care- showering, dressing and positioning
- assistance in community (example: appointments & grocery shopping)
- skill development, prompting and motivation
- Light domestic duties
Qualifications & Experience:
Please read the below requirements before applying for this position.
- Hold a minimum Cert III in Aged Care/Individual Support, Cert IV in , Disability Support or currently enrolled in year University Study or TAFE in either Nursing or Allied Health.
- MUST have current COVID Vaccine and flu shot- Proof from Medicare required.
- Hold a current minimum Level 2 First Aid Certificate & CPR or prepared to obtain
- Have a recent and clear (3 month) National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Must have a roadworthy vehicle, Australian Drivers License and Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- Own a mobile smart phone.
