We’re looking for a Community Nurse to join our team to provide in-home nursing care for our NDIS participants.
About the role:
You will be responsible for delivering in-home nursing services to Redeema’s NDIS participants.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Incident management
- Medication administration
- Wound Assessment
- Nursing Assessment
- Providing clinical support to the office team
- Providing support to the care workers
- Providing direct support NDIS participants
This is a casual role, working up to full-time hours in a care team for complex participants.
Pay:
SCHADS Award Level 4 - Pay Point 1 $51.90 per hour
Location:
Your location will vary across Metropolitan Melbourne and Western Metro (Area code: 3020), every effort will be made to ensure that your preferences are met.
Requirements:
- RN Div 1 Grade 2
- Nursing registration with AHPRA
- Must be medication endorsed
- Must have experience with wound management
- Victorian Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle with insurance
- Current National Police Check (less than 3 months old) or NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Experience in community nursing is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Compassionate, dedicated, reliable, ethical, willing to learn
