About the role:
Based out of our new Home Care & Community Hub in Burwood, we have two dynamic Community Care Organiser positions available working a Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm roster.
As a Community Care Organiser, you will be a key contact for clients, with an active role in managing the intake of clients to AgeWell services. Working within a dedicated customer service team, you will act as the first contact person for clients requiring referral to Allied Health, Social Connection and Home Maintenance and modifications service supports.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a key contact person for clients requiring service coordination
- Ensure that client finance information is managed timely and accurately
- Ensure that the administrative requirements of the program are maintained in accordance with Departmental and organisational requirements
- Effectively manage client complaints and concerns
About you:
You're passionate about making a difference in the lives of older Australians and can contribute to a supportive and dynamic team environment. You possess strong administration and customer service skills, with an attention to detail. If this sounds like you, then we invite you to apply!
you will also have:
- Experience in effective communication and maintaining professional relationships with diverse populations
- Proficiency in administration, client management, and database systems.
- Knowledge of Consumer Directed Care principles and practice
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality and information privacy
- Relevant qualifications and certifications, including a valid driver's license
- Great customer service skills which are friendly and professional and are known for your caring and compassionate nature
- Experience within the aged care sector
- Thrive in a team and also appreciate the one to one interactions
