Community Care Worker (Centre-based)

Fixed-Term, Part-time until 30/06/26, (6 ½ hours, Thursday)
Join us as a caring Community Care Worker, enhancing elderly lives through the engaging programs in our activity groups.
What you will be doing
Our day centres provide programs for elderly of the Greek background with the opportunity to socialize with people of their own background and to participate in planned recreational, physical and educational activities. You will be actively supporting our clients to make this happen.

The ideal candidate will have:
• Understanding of working with elderly from different cultural, linguistic and health backgrounds
• Have a positive and professional attitude
• Have strong English written and oral skills
• Fluency in Greek language is strongly considered
• The ability to work independently and part of a team
• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent, or willingness to enrol shortly after being employed
• Current certificates in First Aid and CPR, or willingness to complete the course
• Current driver license and access to own vehicle.
• Undergo national police record check
