Job Type: Part-time and casual positions available
Duties and responsibilities:
- Providing person-centred care of the highest standard to all residents at Cooinda, in accordance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
- Take an active role in getting to know our residents/clients and their families
- Provide residents/clients with social and emotional support
- Assist residents/clients with the activities of daily living including communicating, eating, Personal Care and grooming
- Other duties can include monitoring medications, making beds and cleaning tasks
The successful applicant should have:
- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Community Servicesor partially completed Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care and/or currently studying a Diploma of Nursing
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good time management
- Flexibility and availability to work rostered shifts
- Please note: Community ServicesSupport Workers must hold a valid drivers licence and have the ability to work unsupervised with attention to detail
