Northern Areas Council has an exciting opportunity for a Community Development and Growth Officer to promote our district and work to implement Council’s economic development priorities.

You will work in a rewarding team environment undertaking a range of roles including:

• Develop strong working relationships with community groups
• Coordinate a range of communication channels including website, social media, newsletters etc.
• Promote Council activities and services across a range of communication channels.
• Work collaboratively with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to promote development, investment, tourism and jobs in the region.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent networking and communication skills
• Proven ability to effectively deliver economic development and marketing projects
• Strong understanding of regional economic development opportunities
