Our opportunity
Important points for this role:
This role is a part time role, equal to 4 days per week over a 12-month period. Your attendance at events occasional evening and/or weekend is required. Ideally, 3 days per week regular schedule with one day flexible to cover changing hours due to events.
A Drivers Licence and access to a car will be required; as in the requirement to be based in Donnybrook majority of working hours.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate the development and delivery of programs, projects, activities and events to improve outcomes for the community in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Facilitate opportunities for community members to actively participate in generating ideas, planning and delivering programs, projects and services that positively affect the community and respond to community needs.
- Facilitate the establishment of new relationships, community groups and relevant forums and networks to promote information and resource sharing.
- Develop strong and positive relationships with residents, community groups, community service organisations, local government and the project team to achieve community and project objectives.
- Enable and encourage community utilisation of facilities and programs including preparation of communications and collateral with information for the community and stakeholders.
- Act as a key project contact point for stakeholders, community members, community group representatives, and as a conduit between the community and the Mirvac team.
- Coordinate intra-community communications, including a content plan for social media platform and newsletter.
- Ensure Olivine's community space is well managed and activated primarily by the community.
Your point of difference
You will have demonstrated experience in Community Development planning and delivery or stakeholder relationships, specifically in the management of stakeholder and community liaison and community event management from concept to promotion to delivery.
You will have outstanding communication skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of people; coupled with the ability to establish rapport and build community networks to deliver appropriate community outcomes with a commitment to community participation.
