We currently have one permanent full-time position available for an experienced Community Engagement Officer at Karrakatta Cemetery.

About the role
We are looking for a creative individual who is passionate and eager to promote our services, locations, products, and consumer information. This role involves utilizing interpretive strategies, organizing community events, conducting market research, and crafting engaging and useful digital content.
The Community Engagement Officer is responsible for developing and implementing Community Engagement strategies to enhance public awareness and understanding of cemetery services through activities that enhance community connections to our cemeteries, including events, website, social media, sponsorships and other collaborative opportunities.

1. Appointment is subject to a satisfactory National Police Clearance as conducted by the Department. A criminal conviction may not preclude you from gaining employment.
2. Australian permanent residency is a minimum requirement for permanent appointment to the West Australian Public Sector. To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the duration of the contract.
