About the Role
This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join our community based Health and Wellbeing Team. We are a dedicated team of nurses and carers supporting the Sisters of the Good Samaritan in independent living, community and aged care settings.
The primary role of the Community Enrolled Nurse is to provide nursing care as a member of the Health and Wellbeing Team to support each Sister to participate in the life and mission of the Congregation.

About You
Your experience in providing care, support, and coordination in an aged care or community setting is vital to this role.
Specifically, the ideal candidate for the role will meet the following key requirements:
- Appreciation of and commitment to supporting the life and mission, spirituality of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)/Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as an Enrolled Nurse
- Minimum of 5 years’ post-registration experience in acute, subacute, community or aged care nursing
- Effective therapeutic communication skills
- Computer literacy in current versions of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Internet Explorer
- A personal desire to support elderly people to live valued and meaningful lives
- The ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of a team
- The ability deliver nursing care and support, in consultation with members of the Health and Well Being team to meet each Sisters requirements
- The ability to support the Sisters through various transitions which could include navigating community services and systems, in consultation with a Registered Nurse
- Sound problem solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to apply regulations/legislation in relation to clinical risk and quality improvement processes
- The ability to actively contribute to process and practice improvement
- The ability to abide by the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2009 (the National Law), current Code of Ethics deemed relevant as advised by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia Code of Conduct.
The successful candidate must also have a current driver’s licence and access to a fully insured and maintained motor vehicle suitable for transporting aged persons on occasions.
