The Oppor­tu­ni­ty

We seek a Com­mu­ni­ty Facil­i­ties Offi­cer who will be respon­si­ble for coor­di­nat­ing the ongo­ing main­te­nance and repairs of Alice Springs Town Council’s com­mu­ni­ty facil­i­ties and buildings.

Your respon­si­bil­i­ties will include over­see­ing the day-to-day main­te­nance, repairs, and minor cap­i­tal works for Alice Springs Town Council’s com­mu­ni­ty facil­i­ties and build­ings includ­ing the Alice Springs Aquat­ic & Leisure Cen­tre, Alice Springs Pub­lic Library, Civic Cen­tre, var­i­ous sport­ing hubs and Child­care cen­ters, Imple­ment and mon­i­tor var­i­ous peri­od­i­cal main­te­nance con­tracts as required, includ­ing pest con­trol, fire ser­vices and air con­di­tion­ing, and action and mon­i­tor incom­ing build­ing main­te­nance requests, includ­ing the pro­vi­sion of time­ly com­mu­ni­ca­tion to rel­e­vant inter­nal and exter­nal stake­hold­ers about the sta­tus of upcoming/​completed works.

• Attrac­tive salary of $92,783.52 p/​a plus dis­trict allowance — $ 2611 w/​dependents, $1498 w/​o dependents
