Support the delivery of our Community Fundraising Strategy to make a difference to the heart health of all people living in Australia.
The role
In this role you lead a team and develop relationship techniques that deliver superior customer experience for fundraisers to uplift results across the Community Fundraising portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead in accordance with the Heart Foundation's values and consistently role model the agreed organisational behaviours including a commitment to community and volunteer engagement and diversity and inclusion principles.
- Implement relationship fundraising activities for acquisition, retention, and upgrade of Community Fundraising supporters to meet agreed program goals.
- Develop and implement relationship fundraiser communications framework that enhances results of fundraisers through effective relationships with new and existing fundraisers.
- Implement and contribute to activities for all Community Fundraising programs as required to drive fundraising results.
- Recruit, manage and coordinate local volunteers to support Community Fundraising programs as required.
- Effective collaboration with internal teams such as Supporter Services, Marketing, Digital and Health to ensure that Community Fundraising program targets can be achieved.
- Manage a team of Community Fundraising Coordinators setting goals and supervising the allocation of team tasks to ensure fundraising income objectives are achieved. Identify team capacity issues, process innovation, training requirements and encourage shared workloads.
- Review and undertake all related compliance for Community Fundraising programs and keep across industry trends, best practice, and opportunities.
- Undertake other duties or responsibilities, as directed, within the scope of this role and consistent with skills, qualifications, and experience, as may be required from time to time.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstration relationship management experience, with proven success with income generation across the Community Fundraising space.
- Confidence to manage relationships with internal and external partners and fundraisers.
- Experience in segmenting customer/donor lists and prioritising contact.
- An ability to relate sensitively to people of all ages.
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
- Clear written and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Proven communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work productively both autonomously and as a member of a team.
- Excellent written, verbal & communication skills.
- Intermediate Microsoft Word; Intermediate Microsoft Excel; Intermediate Outlook, Intermediate PowerPoint.
- Raisers Edge/NXT, or similar Customer Relationship Management database experience.
