Job description

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the community? Do you have a deep understanding of disability inclusion and a desire to inspire and educate school-aged students? If so, we have the perfect role for you!

We are seeking a dedicated Community Impact Facilitator to deliver high-quality disability inclusion workshops to school-aged students (Years 1-7) in Sydney and surrounding areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to engage, inspire, and motivate young audiences through both in-person and virtual workshops.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Captivate and educate school-aged students through captivating disability inclusion workshops, both in person and virtually.
  • Cultivate strong partnerships with schools, gathering valuable teacher feedback to enhance our impact.
  • Embody our brand values and serve as a powerful ambassador for our cause.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Deep understanding of living with a disability, with the ability to share personal stories that resonate with the message of social inclusion.
  • Experience in presenting, teaching, or performing, especially with school-age groups.
  • Ability to engage, inspire, and motivate young audiences through various mediums.
  • Eagerness to learn and retain content for impactful presentations.
  • Eligibility for a valid Working with Children Check.

  • Flexibility to adapt to unforeseen changes and challenges.
  • Strong administration skills and a knack for following processes.
  • A purpose-driven mindset and a passion for making a positive impact.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and remotely.

Terms:

  • Initial contract running until the 30th of September
  • 3 days per week
  • Hybrid working // present over Zoom and in person at schools across Sydney
