Roads to Home Community Liaison Officer (Aboriginal Identified) Casual up to 25 hours per week (flexible workdays/hours) Casual hourly rate $26.96 to $42.25 (plus superannuation) An exciting position has become available for a passionate and community orientated person to join the Local Aboriginal Land Council (LALC) and undertake a primary role in supporting the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Board in implementing the Department of Planning Housing & Infrastructure (DPHI) Roads to Home program This position will be the first point of contact for Roads to Home enquiries and engage with residents, consultants and contractors in order to facilitate effective communication between all parties The successful candidate will have sound communication skills both written and verbal
You will also have an ability to directly communicate and liaise with residents and community members The position also requires someone with sound administration skills including secretariat, records management and task management abilities This is an Aboriginal Identified Position, classified under 'special measures' of section 12 of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010.
