About the role
Central Goldfields Shire Council is seeking a proactive and enthusiastic recreation facilities professional to help deliver best practice outcomes in relation to strategic sport and active living initiatives.
The Community Recreation Officer will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of Councils recreation facilities and building and maintaining strong relationships with community organisations to assist with recreation facility planning and development.
The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in recreation planning, facilities management, sports science or project management, or lesser formal qualifications with relevant experience in community based-recreation services and/or facilities management.
