A vacancy exists for an experienced Registered Nurse (Full time) to join our Head Office in Southport. The position undertakes Community Nursing where you will be allocated a run of clients and services to undertake where you make a real difference in our clients lives! You will be rostered to visit multiple clients predominantly in the Gold Coast area, however we do service clients from the Sunshine Coast to Northern NSW.
In between clients, you will be part of our Head Office team in Southport. The position will have you undertaking comprehensive health assessments, wound, diabetes and continence assessments and then completing the associated report so you may be travelling to North Brisbane, Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan and the Gold Coast. We do have ‘pool’ cars available for you to use. The position will be involved in providing education and training to Support Workers and Community Nurses!

To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Qualified Registered Nurse with preferably 2-5 years experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in our multidisciplinary team
- Assess, plan and implement client centred care within your scope
- Undertake comprehensive health assessments, wound, continence and diabetes assessments and associated reports
- Undertake nursing services such as wound management, catheter changes, diabetes management, medication management, dysphagia management
- Confidence in managing your time effectively, including the ability to work autonomously and part of a team
- Experience in providing training and support to others
- Well developed interpersonal skills that you use to establish rapport with clients
- Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screen Clearance or willingness to obtain
- Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and legal working rights in Australia
- First Aid and CPR
- Current Australian Driver’s licence
- Remuneration is paid above the Nurses Award rate of pay
