About the RoleAs part of our casual pool the successful candidate will join the community nursing team in a Community Nursing/Surgical Nursing role, rotating throughout the year between various areas of Armidale, Uralla, and outpatient clinic environments. They will perform a range of clinical skills, including basic and complex wound care, catheter care, and management of central venous access devices in the community. A confident Registered Nurse with a passion for comprehensive care and wound management is essential. The candidate must understand the impact of complex chronic conditions on health and collaborate with a wide range of specialist community health services to promote healing and well-being. They will act as a strong advocate for patients, liaising between acute services and primary health. The role requires the confidence to work autonomously in patients' homes and the ability to drive a fleet car for work. Additionally, the candidate should be a lifelong learner and excellent communicator who thrives in a small team of experienced Registered Nurses.
