About the role

We are currently seeking a Community Relations Advisor for the Byford Rail Extension project in Perth, WA. This role offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage with and be responsive to community members and stakeholders around the delivery of a large scale project.
  • During the delivery of the assigned project, build trusted relationships with community members and stakeholders, understand their needs and expectations, identify and work to minimise project impacts on them as much as possible, and ensure they receive useful, accurate, timely and engaging project communications materials.
  • Work closely with the delivery team to understand the construction program, identify potential stakeholder and community impacts and work to mitigate these as much as possible

About you

  • Possesses a qualification in Communications and/or Community Engagement or similar
  • 3+ years experience in a project delivery environment, preferably in a large-scale civil, rail or infrastructure project
  • Work independently and collaboratively within a fast-faced project environment
  • Ability to talk to stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
  • Be confident, effective and engaging
