Community Safe Security Officer

• This role can include a day, night, and weekend roster
• 12-hour shifts
• Working alongside a motivated team

• Require own vehicle and living local, self-reliant getting to / from shifts

• Roles are roving campus customer service officers
• Moreton Bay and Sippy Downs region

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform the duties as directed by the Control Room Duty Officer/s, Operations Coordinator or Site Management in line with SOP's
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge and practical understanding of site security related policies, procedures, and all applicable legislation
• Assist management in meeting contractual KPI's
• At all times ensure services are delivered in an efficient and professional manner
• Carry out all vehicle and foot security patrols to a high standard, ensuring accurate post patrol reports are documented
• Assist in the completion on timely, accurate, neat, and legible paperwork/documentation required as directed by the Control Room Duty Officer/s, Operations Coordinator or Site Management in line with SOP's
• Maintain uniforms and PPE in a high standard/working condition, appropriate to site
• Participate in regular safety discussions and on the job training/professional development sessions
• Conduct required administrative duties in a timely and concise manner
• Ensure workplace is kept in a clean and tidy condition
• Prepare and submit written and/or verbal reports regarding:

1. Safety Incidents
2. Security Events
3. Patrol Reports

• Always comply with all company and client policy and procedures
• Any other tasks as deemed necessary from CPA Management or Site Management relevant to your position, authority, skills, and training
• As a First Responder, provide first aid and CPR as required to any presentations
• Assist with collation of information to be reported to the client through both formal and informal means
• Ensure all incidents, accidents and employee issues are reported immediately. Maintain logs of all calls, tasks, and responses
• Undertaking any other duties as notified that are relevant to the role from time to time.

Some of the qualifications/requirements for this role but not limited to:

• Current QLD Security Officer's license (Unarmed, Crowd Control and Monitoring)
• Current QLD Driver's Licence
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current CPR Certification
• Covid Vaccinations
• Certificate II in Security Operations (as a minimum)
• You must have your own vehicle and be self-reliant getting to/from shifts
• You must live locally now to the serviced site applied for (within 50km)
