About the role:
JB Care, a Lumia Care company, offers an exciting opportunity for Disability Support Workers to assist NDIS clients in the Campbelltown Region.
Immediate start for successful candidates!
Attributes for a successful candidate:
- Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably in a high-care or complex care setting.
- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Mental Health, or Individual Support (or equivalent qualification). HIGHLY DESIRABLE.
- Registered Nurse with an overseas background is encouraged to apply.
- Understanding of person-centred care principles and a commitment to promoting the rights and autonomy of individuals.
- Valid driver's license with access to a car.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Current First Aid certificate
- Current Police Check
- NDIS Worker screening check
- Working with Children Check
- Australian Work Rights
Role Responsibilities:
- Supporting clients in our community needing assistance with social support, transporting to appointments, shopping or community day programs
- Continue to support clients to live in their own home by providing help with their domestics, meal preparation, cleaning and most importantly, companionship!
