Tell me more...The role will be required to work across the full age spectrum (whole of life) and across the Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services ('MHAODS')portfolios. The purpose of this position is to provide culturally appropriate interventions, education and advice on social and cultural issues that are relevant for treatment of Indigenous consumers. This will occur in partnership with community stakeholders and other government departments to facilitate the prevention or minimisation of MHAODS related problems. Northern Cluster MHAODS works with a harm reduction philosophy within a recovery focused community development and engagement model. To be successful in this role you will have: Rural and remote/ Indigenous experience TCHHS Mental Health, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services (“MHAODS”) covers a large and diverse area with a population to match.
