We’re seeking a skilled Company Accountant to join our Finance team in our Grovedale office. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and processing Journals relating to the General Ledger Maintain Fixed Assets Register, including additions, disposals and write-offs Preparing reconciliation work papers for all Balance Sheet accounts Analysing and reviewing variances and expenses as required Completing internal P&L balance sheet reports to be reviewed by the Financial Controller Supporting with month and year-end closures Assisting with the annual budget process Preparing monthly BAS returns and annual FBT returns Analysing the data is corporate systems to provide reports and advice to other areas of the business Reconciliation of Super payments and reporting Providing payroll support on weekly processing Preparation of monthly payroll tax returns Submitting insurance claims Set up of utility and merchant services accounts for new stores and locations Creating customer release forms (claims) Managing to Hire Purchase schedules Providing ad-hoc support on financial administrative tasks as required About You Minimum 3-4 years experience in a similar role Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel Proactive, autonomous, self-motivated and a natural problem solver Experience using large ERP systems (e.g. Pronto, SAP, Dynamics and Xero) CA or CPA qualification preferred but not essential Why join us?
