As a Company Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in driving our client's strategic objectives forward. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily accounting tasks including billing, receivables, payables, and bank reconciliation.
- Handle management accounting duties such as revenue recognition and bad debt accounts.
- Perform daily reconciliation of the loan book and analyze exception reports.
- Prepare monthly journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and reporting materials.
- Assist in audits by preparing work papers, responding to queries, and drafting financial statements.
- Conduct data analysis and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Monitor financial performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure budget adherence.
- Build relationships with vendors and collaborate with other departments.
- Support cash flow management, budgeting, and funding activities.
- Develop and document accounting policies to enhance internal controls.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and prepare tax returns.
- Lead and manage the accounting team, fostering positive relationships internally and externally.
- CPA/CA qualification.
- Strong financial accounting skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Working knowledge of NetSuite.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with the ability to handle high-volume data.
- SQL skills are highly regarded and advantageous.
