Position Overview:
We are seeking an Accountant to join us on a full-time basis at our office located in Carrum Downs.
You will be responsible for preparing monthly and yearly financial reports and other day-to-day accounting tasks in the business and liaising with our external accountants.
Other essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Maintain General Ledger monthly including preparing and posting monthly journals, accruals and adjustment entries.
- Complete monthly General Ledger reconciliations including Bank Reconciliation.
- Process invoices into the accounting software.
- Perform month end process and ensure to meet given deadlines.
- P&L and balance sheet analysis.
- Process payroll.
- Assist in forecasting and budget preparation
- Prepare Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Various Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
Minimum qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Must pay a high attention to detail and have an ability to resolve accounting related issues.
- Confident Excel skills
- Passionate for self-learning and development.
