Our client is an Australian owned leading designer and manufacturer of luxury tapware, shower, and bathroom accessories. They're seeking a dedicated and skilled Company Accountant to manage their financial operations and provide insightful financial reporting across various departments. This role involves overseeing bookkeeping functions, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and supporting strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Finalize month-end reports and oversee financial closing processes.
- Manage and supervise bookkeeping functions including credit card reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and present financial reports for various departments.
- Partner with department heads to analyze financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
- Manage cash flow to ensure financial stability and liquidity.
- Conduct financial analysis to aid in strategic decision-making.
- Monitor and manage debtors to ensure timely collections.
- Ensure compliance with all financial obligations, including tax payments.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
- CA or CPA qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in accounting or financial management roles.
- Experience in management accounting, preferably from Big 4 or mid-tier firms.
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- High proficiency in Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
