OverviewWe are currently seeking an experienced individual in payroll processing, data entry or accounts payable to undertake an exciting opportunity with our team on a part time basis, 3 days per week.The focus of the role is to provide timely and accurate compensation services for injured workers and employers.You will work alongside our team of claims management staff to obtain information from Employers relating to payslips, wages, and return to work. This is to ensure injured workers are being accurately compensated as part of their work cover claim.You’ll work within our claims management systems to ensure all information is accurately recorded, and work closely with our accounts processing team to guarantee wage payments are being made on time to injured workers and employers.
How you'll make an impactYou will add value to Gallagher Bassett across the following:
- Providing a professional and customer centric Workers Compensation claims service through efficient preparation of weekly compensation payments for injured workers for processing
- Communicating with employers and injured workers to gather information relating to injured workers current weekly earnings/timesheets
- Delivering high quality customer service towards all parties, and demonstrating a commitment to learning and development
- Learning about differing employment awards to further your understanding about how remuneration cycles and structures and operate for various employers, in order to process accurate pay information
- Providing coaching to employers relating to the importance of accurate payroll monitoring relating to workers compensation claims in order to avoid payment discrepancies, under/overpayments and delays
- Strong problem-solving skills

- Ability to prioritise your tasks
- Interpersonal skills across with all levels of the organisation and external parties
- Experience within similar positions such as payroll processing, accounts processing, data entry, and remuneration officer
