The roles, responsibilities and duties of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles. This Position Description outlines the general duties in line with specific role types and acts as a guide rather than a comprehensive list of tasks.MSS Security is looking for Security Guards to work at Southbank on a rotating roster in a 24 hour environment. We are looking for experience working on Corporate sites.The main duties in the role will be, but not limited to,Control room operations and alarm monitoring and responseCCTV monitoring, footage review and downloadIncident management coordination including reporting and escalation to relevant MSS Manager and/or client representativeCompliance with all standard operating procedures and local instructionsCompletion of all logs and registers accurately and to a high quality standardPerforming Security Officer duties on other areas of the site as required according to the roster or management requestEnsuring radio communications are delivered effectively and in line with correct procedureSkills & experienceCurrent VIC Security Licence with control room licenceDemonstrated experience working on Corporate SitesCertificate II (or higher) in Security OperationsVictorian drivers’ licenceCurrent First Aid and CPRFull Australian Working rightsAbility to work a roster including including night shiftsHow to applyMSS Security is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
