JBS can provide you with more than a job, it can provide a long-term rewarding career.About YouWe are seeking an experienced, autonomous and self-motivated Compensation and Benefits Specialist to join our Corporate Team, in this newly created position. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the Group's compensation and benefit programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives. You will partner with the Business Units to design, implement and administer the Group's compensation framework. In addition, you will be responsible for education around compensation and benefits.This position will suit a well-qualified individual with ideally 5 years plus experience in a similar role who has a passion for process improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesCompensation

  • Develop and implement compensation strategies to support attraction and retention strategies including salary structures, incentives and bonus programs.
  • Perform job sizing and maintain a library of positions.
  • Management and ongoing maintenance of pay bands.
  • Provide context and explanation around any gender pay gaps and manage the WGEA submission.
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to ensure compensation packages remain competitive against our competitors.
  • Conduct reviews of internal salaries for equity and fairness.
  • Manage the annual compensation elements of the JBS Performance Cycle.

Experience & Skills/Competencies
  • Tertiary qualification in HR, business administration, finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in compensation and benefits management.
  • Accreditation in Compensation and Benefits training course is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and making strategic recommendations.
  • Accreditation in Mercer IPE methodology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Knowledge of Fair Work legislation and awards.
