About the role
To support our success we are looking for a Compliance Analyst - Incidents to join the Risk team team based in Brisbane.
As the Compliance Analyst – Incidents, you will be responsible for assisting with the management of the incident and breach reporting process.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and analysing compliance incidents and identifying potentially significant issues and breaches of regulatory obligations, liaising with incident owners and relevant management, timely reporting and providing advice on remediation of compliance incidents to relevant business units.
You will report to the Compliance Manager – Incident Investigations and plays an integral part in ensuring that the Australian Retirement Trust Group Boards and entities continually meet their licence and regulatory obligations. This includes obligations relating to APRA, ASIC, OAIC, AUSTRAC, FSC and others.
This role is available as a permanent opportunity.
About you

- An ability to focus on proactive compliance and risk management and education.
- An ability to pragmatically utilise expert technical knowledge to deliver commercially orientated outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to research and analyse problems.
- Knowledge of Corporations Act 2001, Corporations Regulations 2001, and ASIC Regulatory Guides.
- Knowledge of Superannuation Industry (Supervision Act) and APRA Prudential Standards.
- Knowledge of regulatory bodies (e.g., APRA, ASIC, AOIC, AUSTRAC, ACMA). policy and guidelines.
- Ability to utilise expert technical knowledge of other laws relating to Australian Retirement Trust.
