Primary Role Responsibilities
- Governance Framework:
- Governance: coordinating compliance related governance meetings - scheduling meetings, maintaining relevant terms of reference (including local child-policy), data gathering, documents preparation, minutes, tracking action items, official record keeping etc. Meetings include, but not limited to:
- Incident Review Committee (weekly)
- Various compliance management dashboards, KRIs / KPIs for business lines and compliance (monthly)
- Permanent Control Committee (quarterly)
- Territory Compliance Committee (half-yearly)
- Territory Internal Control Committee (half-yearly)
- Territory Regulatory Reporting Committee (quarterly)
- Procedure Manager; Administering transversal Group Policy change including :
- Maintaining the CRMS Procedure module
- Maintaining the local policy distribution register and status dashboard
- Training & Awareness Manager: (maintenance of content, allocation, tracking, follow-up)
- Administering Compliance training program
- Administering Compliance internal website
- Controls Assurance:
- Assurance: scheduling, ownership / control allocation maintenance, response tracking and follow-up, analysis, identification of action item and associated tracking and follow up, etc) of:
- Administering the quarterly Compliance Self-Assurance program
- Administering the quarterly Compliance Client Certificate
- Administering cross-border assurance statements
- Permanent Control: Contributing to control testing and thematic reviews
Other contributions
- Projects: Contributing to compliance related projects
- Compliance systems management: maintaining BAU parameters
- Compliance BCP / DR management
- Office management: assisting expense reimbursement, procurement, etc
- Budgets: supporting the financial budget process and budget reforecasts.
What is required for you to succeed?
- Prior experience in risk and / or compliance function
- Degree qualified in Business or Commerce
Preferred prior Financial Services experience of 10 years + (general understanding of a Financial Service Provider's / Bank's:- operations, services / products, etc)
- Audit experience preferred
- Governance reporting experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft office (MS word, Excel and PowerPoint)

The Compliance Manager, Governance & Control main responsibility is to coordinate the preparation of the Compliance Function governance framework and reporting, participate in compliance assurance control execution and assist the Compliance Chief Operating Officer is providing the necessary infrastructure and associated support to enable to Compliance Function to manage compliance risks.
