Based in Wagga Wagga, you’ll be working within a top-notch agriculture manufacturing business with close to 100 staff and they are now looking for a driven and consultative Compliance and WHS Manager to join the team.
This is where you come in;
As an Compliance and WHS Manager, you will be providing assurance that the organisation is effectively managing risks and carrying out a systemised approach to governance and controls.
This will mean you will be interacting and supporting the entire organisation from the grass roots up, so being able to work with production operators to senior management is key.

A large part of the role is to drive their ISO accreditation, guiding the business through the process and making sure they stay compliant with ISO45001 and ISO9001 standards.
You’ll bring knowledge and experience of being able to successfully obtain accreditation and implementation being able to take all stakeholders through the journey.
Reporting to and working closely with the Managing Director, you will become a trusted partner in the business where you will have ability to influence and effect change and champion best practices, ensuring people are going home to their families safe and sound.
You’re someone who can see the wood from the trees and can work together to foster a culture of compliance and implement policy and procedure that will eliminate risk.
One project this person will be sinking their teeth into straight away will be coordinating risk audits, so you’ll be liaising with internal and external stakeholders to conduct risk assessments, developing a solid risk matrix, and continuously improving systems to ensure they’re efficient and effective.
Holding a certificate in WHS would be the icing on the cake, however it isn’t essential. Experience trumps qualification in this case.
