Home Caring is a fast growing provider of NDIS and Aged Care services across Australia. We are seeking a Quality & Compliance Officer to assist with the growth of our franchise business and ensure quality at all levels.
As a Quality Auditor you will be working closely with the operations team to continuously exceed industry standards. You will interact with external auditors as required to ensure registration and best practice approach is applied across the group.
Main responsibilities and activities will include:
- Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed.
- Conduct or direct the internal investigation of compliance issues.
- Identify compliance issues that require follow-up or investigation.
- Assist and direct external audits and registrations.
- Serve as a confidential point of contact for employees to communicate with management, seek clarification on issues or dilemmas, or report irregularities.
- Ensure adherence, provide feedback and review of WHS policies and procedures.
- Deliver relevant toolbox talks to staff to ensure culture of safety and excellence is imbedded across the group.
- Ensure adherence, provide feedback and review of HR policies and procedures.
- Develop, provide and arrange employee training on relevant topics, policies, or procedures.
- Develop risk management strategies.
- Evaluating compliance systems and ensuring adequate software is in place.
- Reporting on compliance, including expiry of relevant training or certificates.
Requirements
- Proven experience as Compliance Manager
- In-depth knowledge of the NDIS and home care industry’s standards and regulations
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills
- Diploma/degree/post grad in Business or related field
- Strong time management and attention to detail.
- Outcome-focused without reducing the quality or compliance.
- Exceptional communication and planning skills, with the ability to problem solve while influencing people to follow the vision.
- Be determined to make things happen and have the ability to think outside of the box.
- Enjoys challenging environments and can meet tight deadlines.
- The ability to influence and lead a team.
- Solid people management skills.
- Understanding and ability to adapt to changing operational requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in building team culture and establishing customer-focused outcomes.
- Ability to effectively liaise with a range of internal stakeholders.
- Able to speak Vietnamese is highly regarded but not essential.
